Ok, so the kid that lives next door used to be a nice, quiet little guy who didn’t bother anyone. Then, he apparently got into music… loud music. I don’t wanna talk to the kid himself because I don’t want to act like I’m his parent/big brother or whatever, but I’ve talked to his parents and they’re saying it’s just a phase and that I should be understanding about it. So, I’m wearing ear plugs to sleep but I still have to hear him during the day, and trying to talk on the phone is horrible. I’m hoping one of the other neighbors will say something, but they’re all probably hoping we’ll say something. So, what do I do? Do I keep pushing his parents? Do I chew him out about it? Do I just ask him nicely to turn it down and hope he does? or do I just keep up with the ear plugs and put heavy blankets on my walls to block the noise until someone else takes care of it?
